My beautiful, wonderful, amazing sister got us tickets to see Arcade Fire and Spoon live at Madison Square Garden last night. Actually: she got us tickets for both nights, but work called her away before the second evening’s performance, so two seats are going to go unused, tonight.
Which is killing me, really.
But still! We attended a wonderful show, I met a friend and did the weird “Hi, I know we’re both no longer school-age, but you seem pretty cool and I need more friends in this giant city, so here’s my number and I hope it’s not too creepy” thing. So hopefully I’ll have a new friend to see new music and hang out with!
